For John and for John only.
Come hold thy candle
burning fiercely with thy love
Not tears, nor fear can stray upon my smile
Not when a man strays upon my door
The fading dusk illuminate with the stars
Magic on Ravenous Rivers;
spirits floating on sweet dreams to Avalon
Crimson flowers drawn to my evening star
Blood of mine dances frail through my veins
and dries at first sight of dawn
Like she has to run down your halls forever
The Reasons for living have come what so profound
In thy hands clasp the palms of life and death
I find your name on my epitaph
