In the first week of the new no smoking ban blanketing England, supporters have been optimistically vocal in its support. According to the Office of Homeland Fresh Air (OHFA) this has been an immediate gold mine in the fight against smoking and lung cancer. Spokeswoman Claire Chesterfield stated the following, “with the new campaign now being taken seriously we can focus on other health related matters such as fat children and drunk mothers.” It is thought with the removal of smoking from pubs that the rate of lung cancer will drop but the new cause of lung cancer will be from smoking in pub gardens.
