Streaming thoughts about our first child as he sleeps.
Soft stirring begins with rustling sheets and stretching arms and legs with a deep yawn followed by "mommie?"-

he turns to meet my breast with inklings of milk, peach soft murmurs of "numa-nums"-

gentle giggles and snuggles closer under covers to get "warmy-warmy", faintly whispering "mmmm"  and "please switch"-

Sweetly slumbering, his calm energy storing for the new day-
his relaxed full breathing belly with soft pudgy arms and hunka-chunka legs,
soft sweet breath with lots of oohs and aahs-

Mom and Dad hover over him in reverence and quite amazement-

Amazement because just 30 minutes before, he was tasmainian deviling through
the house, flinging, whirling and wailing about the injustices of taking a bath,  cleaning his "bobo" (after all, the dirt and sweat drenched bandaid still covered the cut), and all the other dreadful events in a 2 1/2 years old's life-

Now the sweet wildebeast is in deep sleep, the only whirling part of his body are his eyes under cover of lids...he still whirls even in slumber.

Although he is small this sweetbeast causes great effects on others-

his slight smile melts me in two--one part to stay at home, the other to work.
