Concept that came to me, not about impressive language, but the idea that it displays
There was a boy who stood on a hill looking below at his life,
there below stood mere remenants, like his new car, his wardrobe, his wife,
he looked hard to find something that he couldnt see,
like he was missing something that should be,
the longer he stood his legs grew weak,
and here he was approaching the final peak,
following a trail of familiar faces,
bypassing his past disgraces
he found only choked space
and nothing reflected in the mirror
where he once saw his face.
A boy stood on a hill, who forgot to be a man,
the material in his life could not be out ran,
it filled the ground and smothered the sound, so that he could no longer see
the space that was left, for the person he wanted to be
The raging sound only grew more intense
his vanity was his last defense
yet on this hill
as his life began to still,
his clothes wore to shreads,
and his greying hair grew more fair
then slowly slipped away
as he stumbled in his head for something meaningful to say
this was now impossible
for he had distinguished all that linguered
which was really true,
for he couldnt face reality
living this material lie
was all he knew how to do
A tear could not escape
as his glance turned to a gape
in one mighty flash all was gone
nothing of substance allowed him to hold on
and in that final second,
he began to realise,
that he had been fooled by his blind eyes
and someone had put lifes true beauty
under a sick disguise

A man lay on a hill,
not one movement , he was still
his bare body graced the ground,
and his gaping expression was
the only revealer to the truth that he had found
