Within the passage of time
We reach through to grasp the safe and familiar
Only to realize there has been a change...
Although body is similar, the soul has moved forward...
With pain we realize;
It is as it should be....

They’re all written within each line
Delicately carved remains lay gently upon the face...
Character to one's soul left open for all to explore.

The edges form deep within,
Bringing out one's truest being..
Bearing all burden and sorrow,
Yesterday’s now forgotten,
Tomorrow waiting to unfold...

I shut my eyes and the world outside disappeared...
I lift my lids and all is born again perfectly clear.
I dreamt you into my reality,
Enchanted desires released as a mystery..
You sung me moon-struck,
Kissed me quietly insane,
Nothing of this love remains,
Except the part of me I hold deep within..
