To be shattered and shaken but never broken.
I was told of the crap of grandeur designs, of a more wonderful situation destined for me, of how my stars will align on its perfect assemblage. But I no longer want to hear these same arguments. What good are the grandeur designs and wonderful situations when my soul screams for being free from it all?

I now don’t have the luxury of dwelling into that place of what has been and what should have not. The past has already glided away from what the present may offer. It faded so quietly into the realm of cobwebs and dustbins. But like the dusk that always anticipated the dawn, I will live the present to venture into the future.
I guess I have little need for memories.
I only have the present to rage against the onslaught of trepidation.
I have had enough of the shadows and I was powerless to stop the mist that slowly sipped into my veins. But I will live the moments as I transfix myself into the arena of mediocrity.
I have no choice but to give in to the bewails and tantrums of nothingness.
But this will not destroy me, this will only make me stronger.

We are all victims of the whims of the universe. We all give credence to the banality of believing that there is something out there for us, but then it’s probably worth believing after all.

As I roll with the punches, I will take all the blows. Probably I’ll be shattered and shaken, but never broken.
Will always stand up to fight another day.

We live the dream, we treasure the moments, we fight the norms and we pursue whatever it is that makes us feel light and happy. I guess it’s the comforting thought of believing that these factors still exists to make us go through the day.

And for that let us have some of these.
A good smoke, a splendid beer, a little silent conversations and some magic moments.
These may rip a little of our lives away, but it’s a great escape.
