The poem reflects how crying and bleeding are not that different for some people.
Bleed

Cry, Cry, Cry,
Your tears flow down your side,
So wet, so light, so fragile,
They splash upon the floor,
Your eyes are dark but sparkle,
Wet with despair,
Knowing you are hurt I cry,
All you want to do is curl up and die,
I cannot help you now,
You see the tears fall from your face upon your pillow,
The tears are not enough,
As you scream and whimper on the floor,
You look in the mirror and see no pain,
You feel so bad, so let down, robbed of something you never had,
He doesn’t even know how you feel,
How can you tell him with his best friend so close to your heart?
Terror fills your veins and all you see is a beautiful girl,
All the pain is inside,
Your skin is clean, pure and untouched,
You heart is hurting,

Thoughts run through your mind,
Your blood flows down your side,
So thick, so heavy, so powerful,
It drips upon the floor,
Your leg is wounded, but tinkles in the light,
Thick with fear,
Knowing you are hurt more than ever, I imagine your pain and cry,
All you want to do is curl up and die,
I cannot help you now; I need to,
You see the blood fall, your arms upon your pillow,
It’s still not enough,
As you scream and whimper on the floor,
You look in the mirror and you see all the pain you felt inside,
You feel so alone, so scared, so vulnerable,
He doesn’t even know how you feel,
How can you tell him with his best friend so close to your heart?
Terror, confusion fills your head, and all you see is a broken girl,
The pain that was inside, is flowing from you now,
Your skin is damaged, touched and sore,
Your heart is hurting,
But is it enough? Or do you want more?
