Capter1 A BURTHDAY TO REMEMBER 


Well it is nice to see you finally pick up this book I mean I’ve been waiting
forever for you. Well now that you are here, I might as well tell you this work of fiction.
Meru was a bit mischievous for an elf wishing for a big adventure and all that jazz but she was
not alone. Her friends wanted it as well take Taboto for example he has been friends with
Meru ever since they were young. Although he has had a run in with a dark demon
he wishes to go on an adventure with his grate friend Meru.
There is also Bleana a little pixie-fairy though a bit of a blabbermouth she is a good
Ally. Ah and who could ever forget Koi a half human half coyote a bit odd yes ... HAY
WHO YOU CALLING ODD I'LL SHOW YOU ODD ALL OVER
YOUR FACE!!! I’m oh so dreadfully sorry please don't hurt me pretty please. Alright
You go on but no more making fun of me got it. Yes, yes I got it. That’s better now go on.
Koi you really don't have to be so grouchy. Sudtup you little sprit one good hit with a flyswatter
and you’re dead. Stop it both of you. Sorry Meru. Please go on sir. Will do as I was saying
these friends would soon get there wish granted. WHAT YOU COMPLETLY FORG-
ABOUT ME!!!!! Alright alright how could we ever forget about princess Lilly the soon
to be ruler of Anula. It is Meru's 24 birthday but as things go wishes come true at the most
inopportune times.
Lilly burst thru Koi's front door in panic she cannot speak Bleana tells her that
the king has been captured but is annoyed at her ranting. Soon every one else is informed but
Taboto is upset that he could not do something special for Meru. Meru her self wishes her
wish would come some other time but it has come so might as well take advantage of the ser-
circumstances.
"Well we better get going the king is not going to save his self you know."
"You are exactly right Koi!" Taboto said braking the silence that filled the
room after hearing what she had said sort of seeing if there ears were debasing them. For she
had never said anything like that before she always was confident in the king.
"(There must be something wrong with her she NEVER has talked about my
father that way before what do you think Meru. MEru. MERU. )" Little did Lilly
notice she was not even paying attention to her instead more to Taboto than the whole conversation
she always liked Taboto but now more than ever...
"MERU!!!!! Did you hear what I said?"
"Oh ya ya I know what you’re talking about." not really I wonder what’s wrong with
him.
Bleana startled them as she Interrupted them "Well are you two coming or what!"
"Uh ha" Lilly spoke for both of them and they started there long journey.



CHAPTER 2
THE SERCH FOR THE KING BEGENS


"Hey Lilly"
"Yes Koi what do you need."
"It would be nice if we knew ware to go to save the king was there a ransom note
around stating ware he was."
"Oh yes, here you go"

"I’ve never been that far from the palace before...."
"I know ware they are and he being alive is a slim chance”
"Where is my dad, tell me NOW Taboto NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
"Calm down now Lilly I know you’re up set but there is no reason to get out of
control you are never going to get your dad back that way instead you'll probably end up dead
above all else so if you don't want your dad and your self dead you'll calm down and act smart."
"Meru is absolutely right now could you please tell us exactly ware he is Taboto."
"Thank you Bleana for getting us back on track he is in the cave of Nula the home
of the dark demon who gave me this scar that never will heal that glows a blackish red and turned
my eye red. We must be very careful once we are there this is my chance to return the favor with interest."
"I hope you get your chance Taboto." Meru was hoping to impress him and he would get the
same feeling she had before. Now he was giving her the same stare she was giving him earlier a confused
gaze.
"(Koi do you think that there is something wrong with them cuz I think so I mean
they are not acting the same towards each other. That stare there giving each other is kinda
freaky I think so don't you I did not know if you did or not that’s why I asked. I wonder
what’s wrong with them maybe they are mad at each other or..."
"WILL YOU SUDTUP YOU LITTLE PIXE-FAIRY YOU
DON'T KNOW ANYTHING DO YOU IT IS SOO OBVIOUS (they are
in love)."
"Oh right I totally knew that."
"Ya right."
"Can’t you two go on for five seconds with out arguing? Now what are you guys fussing about now?"
"Oh nothing important Meru she is just getting annoying that’s all."
"Why can't we tell her the truth?”
"Because we can't let her know because she does not know her self or Taboto knows they just know
something’s different."
"It is getting dark we will stay the night at the small country of Blith." They followed him to Blith
and rested.




CHAPTER 3
A new addition to the expedition



"Well it is quite a surprise to see you so soon Koi and you brought friends too that’s really nice,
and who is this hotie with the scar and red eye?"
"This is Taboto Meco he is Meru's friend and I’m sure you've heard of princess Lilly for sure
also the sprit Bleana the annoying..."
"Hay your mean”
"Hay is for horse’s sweet heart, and last but certainly not least Meru the friend that ties us goofballs together!"
"Well it is nice to meet you all, wait I have heard of that name some ware Bleana, Bleana o well it will come to me some time so tell me why you all are here tonight? You are all welcome to stay
here for as long as you want I’m sure you are not here for a vacation. Are you?"
"Lilly you should explain this to my cuz here you've been awfully quiet ever since we got here." she was
staring in to space seeing a fur is something she thought would only happen once but Meco was different she was
a fox fur.




“Well the king my father has been captured and we are a off to save him but Koi I want to know one thing about before. I want to know why you were not as confident in my dad as always.”
“I know who took him and the demon is the last of our worries. He goes by the name of Shcamaru he is evil here is a picture before he changed.“
“I see why did he turn evil, Taboto I remember you know a man named Shicamaru”
“Ah” Taboto was being hunted by his past
“SHICAMARU You will pay for what you did to me you ruthless monster”
“TABOTO I under stand you are you are up set but do not forget who he once was it was Griffins fault and you know it! That is no reason to be acting like a monster your self!” after Koi stated this she ran upstairs to her room crying.
“It’s my fault I know I’m not supposed to say things about Shcamaru in front of her “
Meru said in bravery “let me go talk to her I remember how close she was to him.”
“Hey are you all right I know he made you up set and I can’t help that but I can help you fell better. Why don’t I get us some ice cream and well talk about it O.K.”
“That would be nice of you Meru.”
Down stairs Meco had just convinced all of them that she was coming too.
“Meru how is she I’m really sorry I lost control of my anger for a second and I know I’m not going to get any ware that way, and Meco is coming too tomorrow.”
“She stopped crying and we are going to be up there for a wile. Next time please try not to slip up all right Taboto “after that she went back up stairs
“Hear you go Taboto is very sorry he said so him self.”
“You like him a lot don’t you I mean more than usual now?”
“How did you know I mean yes I don’t know what’s wrong and I think he feels the same.”
“He and you are in my book any way a couple.”
“You really think so I was so blinded it was so obvious how could I not see it “
“ Just don’t get to attached you might lose him like Shcamaru and me I’m going to get him back when we get there and there is nothing Griffin can do about it . It took you and Taboto to show me that and this is one revenge wish Taboto will have to do without.”




CHAPTER 4
the weal of emotions

“Before we go on we must call of the wisdom of Tyen (my pet tiger.)”
“That’s nice and all but how are we supposed to find Tyen anyway Koi?”
“I am glad that you asked that question Lilly, with this.” In her hand she held a tear shaped locket that had a blue gem in the middle of it. It was glowing bright then it brightnd and opened. When it opened a musical tune came out to the mother goose nursery rime three blind mice. As soon as it was over a bright light came out of the locket. When it faded away there stood a tall black tiger with purple stripes.
“What is it now you woke me up from my nap?”
“Ah enough of that now to what I called you here for we need you to go with us on this mission.”
“Well it is about time you actually need me to go on a mission with you.”
“I don’t even want to hear it so stop. Do you know anything about a demon named Nula and wile you’re thinking get me some dirt on Shcamaru’s past few months please.”
“Hmm Nula isn’t that the demon that gave Taboto that nasty scar on his face ah yes he is on vacation in the Bahamas this time of year or was it Hawaii I can’t quit remember that is probably how they got in to that cave.”
“That is good work now what about that dirt.”
“I don’t know any thing about that but I’m sure it would be beneficial for you all if I came along with you all for this advencer I mean you all ready woke me up and it is going to take forever for me to get back to sleep.”
“Well dua that’s why you are here now come on we all ready wasted a lot of time lessening to your sob story.”
“All right I’m coming”
“You are going to have to run to keep up with our horses Tyen. I think you need some exercise you’ve really let your self go if you know what I’m saying and I don’t even want to hear you say you did not just call me fat because just look at all that flab on your legs it is just disgraceful. Now we need to go to Lillia Lilly your dad named this place after you. I did not know if you knew because you are a few years younger than us. He might not have told you because of its violence after he named it.”
“But why did he name it after me why that place?”
“It had the most pretty lilies in all of the land and I could never sugar coat that truth. Your father loves you very much were just glad you did not turn out like a snob.”
“You mean you guys really love me as family?”
“We wouldn’t have it any other way Lilly.”
“come on stop it Koi you’re going to make me cry.”
“stop it you’re giving me a cavity.”
“Sudtup Tyen you really need to get a heart you know.”



CHAPTER 5
I LIKE PIE A LOT!!!


Once they were at Lillia Bleana remembered what Lillia was famous for
“PIE PIE PIE PIE PIE LOTS AND LOTS OF PIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE PIE PIE PIE PIE!!!!!”
“Get Bleana we don’t want to get kicked out of town you know what happened last time!”
“I’ve got her Koi not to worry.”
“LET ME GO MERU LET ME GO NOW NOW !!!!”
“Di did she say pie I love pie”
“Meco”
“Don’t you Meco me Koi tell me ware the pie is now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
“All right all right we’ll get pie later o.k. guys but we’re not going hog wild because they don’t have any meat pies left. There is a live stock shortage in this town with there violence it dose not surprise me that much. Ow well I guess I will just have my second favorite”
“Every one look it is the blessed princess Lilly come to save us!”
“Excuse me who are you sir?”
“Your madgisy Lilly I am Nin I am so glad you have come to save us from the monster her name is the same as yours she looks like you as well.”
“How did you know I was not the monster Nin?”
“I knew it was you for the monster has red eyes and is a shape shifter.”
“That makes sense enough for me.”
“Look out there she is she has shaped into a young man. Him behind you with the three scares!”
“He is not the monster Nin his name is Taboto he has been our good friend for quite a wile but I thank you for your concern for my safety Nin.”
“Hi I’m Bleana do you have pie?”
“Ya and I’m Meco I want pie to!”
“What about that tiger over there he is pretty sinister looking.” Nin said scared staring at Tyen’s sharp claws drawn out. Not knowing he dose that at miner annoyances. Like Meco and Bleana begging for pie. He was half way tempted to join them but there was one problem no more meat pie. That did not bother him though he was sure after he rested he would find some sort of animal in the forest near the village.
He was craving a nice fat squirrel for Meco’s name reminded him how much he loved squirrel in some Indian language it meant little brown squirrel.
“Excuse me Nin miss Lilly is not here for your little town we are here on a quest to save king and stop staring at my claws or they will be all over your face.”
“Th The tiger ca can talk.”
“Yes I can I can talk.”
“TYEN please be kind I know you’re mad because I woke you up but that is no reason to be unkind to Nin.”
“Wow Koi you’re atculy being nice to some body that’s a first.”
“Don’t get used to it Bleana it might not last long and that’s true.”
“Taboto what is that supposed to mean and besides what do you know about me any way NOTHING. You don’t know anything at all about me I hate your know it all attitude about me. You can’t just except that I’m being nice for a change I mean come on that is low for you Taboto. Ow grate you made me upset now I want pie.”
“I’m sorry Koi I didn’t mean any thing by it really I didn’t at all I was just kidding that’s all please understand.” Taboto waved his hands and shook his head no hoping she wouldn’t kill him for it. Meru was giving him that you better not have just said that look that mothers give there kids when they say a bad word.
“Ha ha ha ha ha I can’t believe you fell for it that was slick!”
“Give me five Meco. I’m sorry I did that to you it was there and I just had to say it.” Koi said as she gave him a friendly punch on the arm all the sudden Meru just busted out laughing. As Lilly is, she could not help but to laugh too. Nin did not know what to think he asked Taboto if they acted like this all the time.
“Koi and the others do but I have not known Meco for long but I’m sure she is just like her cousin.”
“That is nice and all people but I don’t know about you but I want pie NOW!”
“I am sorry why don’t you all come to my house my wife loves to have gests over. She is one of the best pie makers in town I’m sure she would not mind making a pie for such heroes.”
“Heroes? Nin heroes is a bit more than we deserve for our deeds.”
“Nonsense. Hon we have gests they are companions of Miss Lilly.”
“Miss Lilly it is quite an honor to meet you and who are your companions my deer.”
“They are my friends Meru, Taboto, Koi, Meco, Tyen, and this pie driven little pixie-farie is Bleana.”
“It is nice to meet you all. Come on down Dala we have guest.”
“Yes mother.” and down the stares came a beautiful young girl about the age of 16. “Welcome miss Lilly ,Meru , Taboto , Koi , Meco , Tyen , and Bleana. It is nice to meet you all I am Dala I’ve been in a hurry I have to find that monster that curses our town Lilly the evil. I am really sorry I can not stay to greet you all I have to get going.”
“Dala if you don’t mind staying for a little wile we would like to talk to you about your surch.” Meru did not like the way Taboto was talking to her so she nudged him in the stomach.
“well I guess I can stay for a little wile the monster is not going any ware for a wile.”
“Lets get this little pixie some pie before she goes on a rampage.” Dala’s mom said as she went to the kitchen.
“That is amassing at your state no wonder your dad wanted Lilly to help. You are doing this on your own and after that near fantail incident with her you are still fighting and trying to save the village.”
“Taboto it is not that amassing and I don’t even think of myself as a hero at all.”
“Well I’ve made my dishion how would you like to come with us Dala.”
“Meru that is quite an offer I’ll have to think about it I’ll give you my answer in the morning.” once they woke up there was a note left on the table.
“What dose it say Koi.” Lilly asked hoping she was not hurt.

I’ve made up my mind I am coming with you I just have some business to settle before I leave I will catch up with you guys later. Bye. Dala
“I know ware she is and she is in big trouble we have to help her.”
“Tyen what’s up what is wrong ware is she.” Lilly said worrying about her.
“Just fallow me come on!!”



CHAPTER 6
Dala is in trouble


They wound up in a cave there lie Dala on the ground hardly alive.
“Hu stupid human you think you can defeat me you can’t kill a demon by yourself.”
“ow ya surprise Lilly it’s me.”
“How could it be you Lilly I killed you years ago.”
“sometimes you can’t get rid of something even if you think you did.” Lilly is not so skittish after all she is proving to be quite a hero.
“AHHHHHHHH”
“You of all demons should know never to turn your back on your enemies even if you think they can’t fight any more.” Lilly fell to the ground with the sword still stock in her back. Dala fell to her knees and fainted.
“DALA!!!!!!!!!!” Lilly yelled. They all ran up to her Taboto picked Dala up and started to walk to the entrance of the cave.
“poor kid almost giving up her life to save her village at least she did what she wanted to do I hope she will be ok she dose not deserve to die like this.” He set her down. A voce came from the mouth of the cave.
“DALA….DALA ANCER ME PLEASE I NEED TO HEAR YOUR VOCE DALA!!!!” Dala sat up a little bit and very weakly, she said.
“Vexus I’m here ah.”
“DALA DON’T WORRY I’M COMING!” A young man came and ran to Dala and held her close to his chest. “Dala I’m here don’t worry I’m here.” he started to cry he kissed her as if it would save her life. “Dala please don’t die please don’t die.
I thank you all who ever you are for helping her I thank you I just hope she is still alive I could never live with out her.” he hugged her close and cried even more.
“Come on kid we better get Dala to a doctor poor kid.” Taboto said and put his hand on his shoulder. Vexus picked her up and cared her to the exit.
“Vexus how do you know Dala.” Taboto was interested in knowing about him. The girls were just speechless along with Tyen who was just tired.
“How do you know my name?”
“Dala tried to call for you in the cave.”
“she is my girl friend.”
“I see I would not be able to live without Meru as well she my girl friend not officially but I love her.” Dala opened up her eyes a little bit.
“Vexus…”
“Shh Dala I’m here.” She held his shirt, laid her head on his shoulder, closed her eyes, and went to sleep.
“Hay I was wondering Dala is coming with us to save the king you want to come.”
“I would never leave her for dead I’m going to come with you. Now that Lilly is, gone things are going to be a lot better in Lillia.
“I’m glad to hear it but before we go any ware we have to make sure Dala is all right.” Meru ran up to Taboto and he took her hand she blushed and put her head on his shoulder.
“There it is don’t worry Dala we’ll get you to a doctor soon I promise.” once they got to town and to a doctor Dala’s face was coved in scratches there was blood on her shirt and skirt.



Chapter 7


“I didn’t see that she was that hurt I hope she is all right.” Vexus said holding her head in his hands.
“Vexus… where, where are we where are Lilly and the others.” she was still very weak.
“There here do you want to see them.”
“Not yet I just want to stay hear with you for a wile….”
“DALA WAKE UP DON’T LEAVE ME DON’T GO NOT NOW” tears ran rapidly down his face “NO YOU CAN’T LEAVE ME.”
“Good bye Vexus I love you.”
“Dala, DALA I love you too good bye I’ll miss you.” he cried on the lifeless body that used to be his girl friend Dala and as he heard her last heart beat he let out a caring I cannot be leave this cry. The others rushed in and asked what was wrong. Vexus slowly lifted and turned his head toward them with the most indicant look in his eyes.
“she’s dead.” he put his head on her corps and cried. Taboto held Meru they were all just astonished they could not speck except for Taboto and Koi. Koi understood how it feels to lose some one you love Shcamaru wasn’t dead but it felt as if the Shcamaru she knew and loved was dead the only difference was she did not have a corps to cry on. Taboto just felt that she did not deserve to die that way but she did not die in vain witch was good but she deserved to rule this town as queen. That is one thing she never get to do. Koi knelt down beside him and put her hand on his back.
“I understand how you feel Shcamaru emotionally died and that is ten times worse and I wished he would have really died instead. Having that pain and having no corps to cry on is very hard. You don’t deserve this I wish there was something I could do.” Vexus hugged her and cried on her shoulder. Koi was a bit surprised but rubbed his back not thinking she would have to play mom today.
“Thank you.” Vexus told her she just replied
“it’s ok you just let it all out.” Taboto finally said something.
“She is right you did not deserve to suffer and she did not deserve to die that way.” Lilly soon replied.
“She would have made a grate queen.”
“you’re a good strong kid you know.” Koi said hoping she would make him feel better.
“I a coward I did not fight with her if I did she wouldn’t have died.” Koi was not going to let him think like that and quickly said.
“You are not a coward how you are taking this is very brave and mature when I lost Shcamaru I was thinking of suicide but all of my friends were there to help me just like we are doing for you now.” that was the most motherly thing she ever said in all the times she had to play mom.
“I’m going with you guys she would have wanted me to.”
“All right now let it all out it is ok cry she deserves that.” Koi said as Vexus cried Meru and Taboto gave a small smile seeing that Koi is healing seeing her getting kinder like she was before a kind person ever since he said the stuff about Shcamaru and Meru talked to her she has become much more like she was before Shcamaru hurt her.
Latter that night once Vexus went to sleep the others talked.
“He is just a kid and so was she I can’t believe how well he took it he is such a strong kid.”
“you’re right Lilly and I think Koi playing mom helped him a lot. That was a good connection you made with him we’re really proud of you.”
“Thanks Meru I just didn’t want him just a kid to go thru what I did he dose not deserve that just the look in his eyes when she died I saw how I felt once Griffin was done with Shcamaru. I felt as if he did die but it was on the inside.”
“O please”
“Tyen I can hear you ya know.”
“He has to be a strong kid for what he is going to do he will be a hero along with the rest of us once we save the king.” Taboto said as Dala’s parents entered the room every one sort of looked at the floor. ”I’m really sorry about it we would have gone with her in the first place if she told us when she left.”
“There is no reason to be sorry Taboto you all did all you could. I just can’t believe the pain he must be enduring I just hope he is all right. After his parents died Dala was all he had left he almost lost her once and he was an emotional wreck. Dala always told us she might not come back home and we knew that but at least she knew what she was risking.”
“Why didn’t Vexus help her if he cared about her?”
“o he did not tell you before Koi his parents died they told him for them not to go after Lilly. They did not like Dala for the fact she tried to kill Lilly they secretly worked for her but they cared for him.
He could not defy his parents but he was never going to fallow in there footsteps. We herd you talk about a man named Shcamaru there were two men one was named Shcamaru and I’m not so sure but I think the other one was named Griffin ya that’s it. Shcamaru stopped by and said if we meet a few people named Koi, Meru, Lilly, and Taboto. To tell you the truth about him being evil….
