scrarred heart in hand

i see you crying
bloody teardrops running down your face
your hand out sreched
holding the only thing you have left
your heart, so badly scarred, almost to the point of no repair
i go to you slowly
trying hard to dry your eyes
to make you smile
to make your heart rise
softly my hand goes over yours
to cover your hearts wounds
i look into you eyes
looking like they want to survive
i can feel your heart healing
and calling out to mine
slowly it grows
pulsating anew
