How does one know true love?
Is it something we just come to know?
Is it something that comes to us from the gods above?
I think it is the hearts from two that just entangle and glow.
How does one know when love is the true thing?
Is it how our minds can not think about anything new?
Is it something that lasts longer than the average fling?
I think it is proven by clue after clue.
How does one know it will last always?
Is it when we say I love you?
Is it when we stop counting the days?
I think it is when you are ready to say I do.
