Lounging on Waikiki Beach last summer, a beautiful scene presented itself to mine eyes...
"I love you like a mango..."
he strums melodically--
along with the
swish swish swish
of turquoise Pacific tides

chocolate skin
gleaming
glowing

popping his shoulders...

swaying soothingly...

his voice cruising along carelessly,
surfing atop welcoming trade winds...

perched like a star
on grateful grains of sand.
