I remember the poetry,
We would all sit
On the gigantic squishy couch,
The rain puring down
Drip by drip dragging down the window,
I remember the hot chocolate,
We would all help
Crush the chocolate into the cream,
The smell rising up
Drink by drink devouring the contents,
I remember the soup,
We would all watch
As he stirred the liquid,
The cream bubbling up
Spoonful by spoonful we sipped the succulence,
But most of all I remember the poetry.
