A short version of my fair city, "Fabulous Las Vegas", poetry style.
Las Vegas, Las Vegas, city of dreams
But everything in Vegas isn’t always what it seems

You arrive full of cash in hopes of winning that bet
And a glimpse at a celebrity is a chance you may get

Thieves and hustlers on the prowl to make you poor
But the one arm bandits are what you should watch out for

Your plans are to see a show I’m sure you will enjoy
I’m sorry to announce, that won’t be Siegfried & Roy

You wander the streets in search of a meal that is cheap
This town has gotten bigger; you can feel it in your feet

The sightseeing is cut short and the free drink is gone
It’s time to do what you came for, let’s get the gamble on

A flip of the card, a roll of the dice
You start out winning and it all seems nice

The gamble is good and it’s going all night
No one can stop you, breaking the bank is in sight

But here’s a little tip, to help you on your trip
The longer you stay, the more you will play
And if you think you got the upper hand, I want to tell you something man
Vegas isn’t for you…go visit Disneyland

Your luck is now gone and you say, “That’s how it goes!”
But let me ask you, “How do you think we build these casinos? “

On the plane ride home, you’re broke…but time well enjoyed
I like to welcome you back, because you're keeping me employed

If you walked on the wild side, I will show you no pity
You were just affected by a town called Sin City

But if you want it all to be a secret....and keep it between us
That’s our code, "What Happens in Vegas, Stays in Vegas!"
