about how we are the reason animals are becoming extinct |
The glorious lion's mighty roar; Something you can't buy at an everyday store The beautiful robin's light-heartening song; Makes your body grow young and live long The whale gives a deep bellow to the water; something we should never slaughter Keep all our animals alive; They're not prepared for the roads we will drive We're leading them to extinction, every single one; and it will never end until they're all dead and done We'll only regret at the end once they take their toll; Of what we could have saved and of every lost soul We chop down their trees for things as a toothpick; which could probably be taken from even a random stick We're taking their homes for our own needs; while we could live without the way it will please Clearing the forests and flattening the land; Turning even the rocks to a coarse sand The oceans were once clear, vast, and beautiful; until that day we felt needful to carry across cargo using harmful fuel; bringing items by their beauty and value, like a jewel Our accidents, however, even pose a great threat; can act to a fish's life as a great fiery net And as oil fills up their lungs as they breathe; They die a great suffering collapse, or heave 6/5/07 age 12 |
