A street market bustling just around the corner,
mixtures of English and French filling the air.

Smells of crepes and rotoulle please the senses.
Inside coffee cups and idle talk rattle away,
conversations to be repeated another day.

Women laughing and giggling over today’s new finds.
German fraulines they sound to be.

Slowly the mist fades away.
