A poem I wrote a few years ago after my boyfriend and I broke up
One day when I become a woman,
There will be a man by my side who will take my hand in his
And tell me that I am the only one for him.
One day when I become a woman,
I will kiss a man and feel fireworks every day until I die.
One day when I become a woman,
There will be a man who will be content with just being at my side,
No words, just being.
One day when I am a woman,
I will have that man, but until then I am content with empty hands, no fireworks and just being.. me.
