Unknown Trail

It curves around with such a grace
below the mountain-side.

Luscious leaves of greenery
shadow paths that hide.

Will it lead to happiness
or will it find the pain?

Doesn't look so breathtaking
when clouds build up the rain.

A path that's never ending
It winds around the earth.

Lessons and the heartache
begin the day of birth.

Still I trudge this road
though its hazy just to see.

The beauty right around the bend
continues calling me.
