Original Poem that was turned into a song by Theresa Kiefer |
Most people wonder how I can trust in a God that I can't see But, although I've never seen His precious face His presence is so real to me And to those who wonder what I base my faith on I reply, "Just look about!" In the glories of His wonderous creation There's no room for doubt! Is there room for doubt when you see the blazing sun up in the sky or gaze upon a rainbow or watch an eagle fly? Is there room for doubt when a baby smiles and all the flowers bloom in Spring? My friend, this world just didn't happen on it's own It took Jesus, my King! Are you trusting in a wafer or in a well-worn church pew in the flood of baptismal waters, leaning on someone you knew? None of these can ever save you! You just can't work your way in. When Jesus died He paid your sin's penalty. There's nothing left to do except trust Him! Is there room for doubt when you hear God's Word and you know that it's for you? Although, you may not wanna listen, you can't deny It's truth! Is there room for doubt when your heart starts pounding as all the Christians pray and sing? My friend, don't say "no" while He's calling you to come. Trust Jesus now as your King! God's Word and nature tell the story. They're what my faith is all about! Through God's Son we can have a know-so Salvation.. So there's no room for doubt! Is there room for... ...doubt? |
