a lesson on how to write in Charonic, a code I invented
Charonic:

Charonic is a phonetic code based on the sounds that words make. It is specifically fitted for english and uses only english characters so that it will be easier to type.

All vowels are replaced by a two-letter combination as follows:
ee (as in bleak) = ed
eh (as in bed) = er
ah (as in bath) = ab
ih (as in hit) = it
ie ( as in bike) = ik
oo (as in broom) = ok
oo (as in book) = oc
oh (as in boat) = on
o (as in bought) = od
uh (as in button) = ut
ng (as in swing) = gon

All consonants are the same as in english except:
t=n
n=t
sh=q
th=c
ch=x

herlon = hello = h + eh + l + oh

sed' = seed = s + ee+ d
* Note that ee-> ed and that the next sound in the word is "d." Because you never repeat a consonant you add an appostrophe mark after the d from the ed to indicate that the d is repeated.

pitkutl = pitekutil = p + ih + k + uh+ l = pickle
*Note that there is more than one way to write any given word because any vowl can be inserted just about anywhere so long as it doesn't change the meaning of the word. Say I had tried to spell pickle in charonic but accidentally spelled it "pitakut'l" : that word would sound like this: p+ih+ay+uh+n+l which isn't even a word.

xodrled xap'lit' = Charlie Chaplin
