Get On My Level



It’s funny how, when I was a child and a teenager adults use to love to speak to me, I mean they use to love to talk to me, I mean they use to say something, but for some reason I didn’t listen. If you can remember the show “Charlie Brown” their was a character on there that use to talk and all you heard was woomp,woomp, woomp that’s what adults sound like when there talking I mean speaking or what ever they think that there doing . I use to have some good people in my life if I can remember but all they did was voice their opinion, now that I think about it all adults I mean most of adults are so adultie, I  know that this is not a  word but perhaps you can open you mind. As a child and a teen I remember adults always try and tell you what you should do or what you should not do forgetting that children are people too.

So……….is this the truth  if not you are very rare and I would like to meet you, you must have no sin, no mistakes, the perfect one; behold everyone Jesus has arrived for his second coming. My point hear people, is for you to get  children to listen to you without regret is to understand there struggle; sure they have struggles, understand that you need to shut up, some times and maybe just maybe they will tell you the truth. Did I say shut up YES I did because you are ruining your chances on being effective and being a true friend to your soon to be grown up child. I’ve heard plenty people say they don’t call themselves their child’s friend, I am just their mother or just their father well if you choose to go this way that’s what you choose to do. From teen to adult shut up and listen and actually communicate with your child about  what ever he or she say’s out of her mouth weather it’s right or wrong  and once you let this person  use his own voice you will start to build a friendship and guess what now there coming to you before they have sex to talk about it or before they  choose an extracurricular activity or maybe even about there friend that  their having problems with.  With that said GET ON THEIR LEVEL until I think again……………………..
