A fun poem representing myself and my ex. Her as the princess and myself as superman. |
The man of steel can leap tall buildings in a single bound, but wouldn't Lois Lane be prettier in a princess-like gown? and why do fairy tale princes always have to be the same? I'm starting to find the handsome prince deal kinda lame. They never really have played too big of a part, more often than not they just steal the damsels heart. Think about it if the fairy tales had a hero like superman, all those so called villians would have got up and ran. I mean he travels the world at the speed of light, unless kryptonite is involved he never loses a fight! Why couldn't superman have lived a fairytale life? He could have any princess he wanted without a strife. She would definitly live happy ever after with him at her side, and with him around villians would have nowhere to hide. Of all the Disney Princesses which would be the best? Superman would put each one of them to the test. He tested mentally, physically and everything in between, he was looking for something that always went unseen. After days and days he finally pulled Belle aside, She was the one who saw the light from the inside. Belle smiled and to superman this is what she told "you may be the man of steel but you have the heart of gold" He returned her gaze and then her hand he took "You see me for who I am, not how I look" You looked the hardest where most look less, I will be your superman if you be my princess! With that they became locked in a loving embrace, Belle rested her head and listened to his heart race. The two shared many years of love and laughter, and just like all fairytales they lived happily ever after. This is still a fairytale with a twist and a bend, but now its time for this story to come to an end. I photoshopped a picture to go along with the poem, it can be viewed from the link below. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v697/KrazyTiger/supermanandbelle2.jpg |
