Suggestive poem describing my favorite thing; has a humorous ending. |
We all have desired cravings; from fine food to jewelry. Imagine the myriad of options; what bountiful diversity. Like riding a roller coaster, gripped by each forceful turn A welcome surprise, it's before my eyes, I seek, return and yearn. Anticipation slowly builds, tension screams a mind-boggling level. Keenly intent and pre-occupied, I resign, relish, and revel. Emotions can climb, ever so extreme, akin to approaching a cliff. Butterflies, deep inside, sensory awareness starts to lift. The pressure mounts and intensifies, quite alluring and engaging Quick-action release, swift, letting go; quite exciting, exhilarating. Emotions peak and ushers forth immeasurable, pleasurable feelings The unbearable wait so overblown; so staggeringly overwhelming. Creeping steadily, gaining momentum, sustaining speeds unknown; Eyes, shut closed; body, retracts; deafening silence is overblown. Achieving climactic release, sensations start to float and drift First and final contact with my favorite thing; oh, what a gift. Take a guess? Alright I’ll confess; can you guess my favorite thing. It's not clothes, cars; fancy shoes or food, not even a diamond ring. I am always appreciative and moved for the thoughtfulness it does bring. It's a message from my dearest of friends, even tho at times they can sting. |
