Isiah died 30 minutes after bith, this poem is for him.
Ten fingers, and ten toes

Two eyes, and a little nose

My perfect one, your already here

a little early, a mothers fear

the doctor says your heartbeats shallow

He only gives you a half an hour

My heartbreaks, as i look into your eyes

I begin to shake, as tears pour from my eyes

"Mommy's Sorry",repeats in my mind

a silent prayer to the lord,up high

as i beg him to spare your life,

to take mine, that you deserve a fight.

I looked into your eyes, and you were looking up at me.

I watched you struggle, as you tried to breathe

pretty soon you fell fast asleep

I sat up and rocked you as you clung to me

my baby Isiah died in his dreams

but he will always live on as a part of me.
