The stirring dust rolls, high above the hills, Thought at first to be a cattle stampede. Guns ready to blaze and make time stand still; Galloping towards town at breakneck speed. These men ride hard and fast; they've got to bring in This outlaw from the badlands called Tornado- Wanted for murder and things done to women. This posse's on one last ride to Laredo. Shootout in Durango, he's headed back here. I know as the devil is now standing near! Straight to the saloon for a shot and a beer. Can't see how he guns them down, not seeing clear. He's only nineteen, the law was always defied. Killed his first man of many, down in Tampico. Bring in all the children and women folk inside; There's more bandits on the last ride to Laredo. Only one person survived all the bullet spray. One at a time, the outlaw shot the posse down. All say he's infamously just crazy that way. Little Texas city is now a two-bit town. The people tried to see if they could find one flaw. Who'll be the hero, to kill the mighty Tornado. Anybody that's greedy, thinking they can outdraw. That was their first and final, last ride to Laredo. |
