A silver arrow rings through the Air -
The harbinger of velvet Death -
Whispering with wind kind and fair,
Settling my last breath.
It rings of forgiveness and divinity,
Disillusioning the dolorous Soul,
And singing the song of lament Infinity,
Waxing my Life brilliantly whole -
It mends the involute Heart,
So, with Felicity, I may depart.
It dispels Earth's lachrymal Tide,
For it is my Heart's silver bride -
With swift and painless judicature,
Erasing Life's grim caricature,
It marries away Life pain-ridden,
Making my Soul Death's faithful myrmidon.
