Lucidity

pleasure dances with pain

lucidity suddenly becomes insane

suffering holds hands with salvation

beauty and agony exist in perfect harmony

Strange days inspire magical nights


getting comfortable in my new skin

standing here trying to breathe

turning slowly to face the wind

wondering aloud , the beginning or the end

how much higher must i climb

before i find the path that is mine


The rythym of life whispering my name

encouraging me ,my suffering was not in vain

still the scars of yesterday

keep me from finding my way
