Shut herself off from the ugly world, she wallowed in grief. Then a ray of light beamed.
Like a soldier who digs
A trench as his hideaway,
I dug my own tomb
There,all by msyself i lay
Coiled and protected
Safe when disconnected.
I wallow in grief

I was encumbered
On this profane land.
Faces are ugly and sombre
Withered petals crushed,
Screaming voices never hushed
So i dug my grave to sleep
And wallow in grief.

My scars are too many
to veil.Tears mingled
With my heart's pain.
Their sins wounded me
Crawling to my very core.
Like a slain sacrifice i bleed.
Wrapped up, I wallow in grief.

Amid my dejection,
Through a hole in the haze,
In the sunlight i saw his face
He bent down to my grave
And offered his hands
His fingers touched mine,
Numb and cold,
Daring my blood to run again.

His eyes enclosed all of me
He drew me closer
I inhaled his soft breath
That sent life through me.
I thought I was lifeless.
Take me back home
And lull me to sleep.
