Release

Storm clouds are rolling in
So ominous and gray
The winds whip through my hair
And blow my screams away

Thunder roars around me
With lightning in the sky
A release of emotions
The clouded moon rises high

Arms flung wide before me
I am no longer bound
I rage against the world
Rain falling all around

Thunder shakes the ground
Once steady beneath my feet
Tears mingling in with rain
Are falling to the street

I must let it all go
To save what I can
From the darkness inside
Stealing from who I am
