Legolas watched Gimli as he slept. He did not trust the Dwarf and made no attempt to hide it.
His snoring was so loud that Leglolas wondered for how far it could be heard. Certainly for miles around. Each night he worried that it would lead to their discovery.
How that sound didn’t attract anything to their whereabouts was beyond Legolas’s comprehension.
Gimli grunted and rolled over, now facing Legolas. As though he somehow knew he was being watched Gimli yanked his blanket over his head.
“He will be the death of us all,” Legolas thought. “I just know it.”
