I was baby sitting my brand new baby sister for the very first time. I gazed down at her tiny perfect body, her little stomach rising and falling with each small breath. Suddenly, her face crumpled and she burst into heart wrenching sobs. I rocked her gently but she didn’t stop. Her shrill screams reverberated around the house like a shrieking siren.
“Sha sha”, I cooed. She only screamed louder. Then suddenly I heard beautiful music pouring out of her mouth, the likes of which I have never heard before. She sang gorgeous soul- stirring music. Her face was calm and relaxed, her eyes sparkling, and her mouth wide open as
beautiful music surged out. I listened in astonished silence as she bared her soul to me. When she stopped I picked her up and pleaded,
“Could you please do that again?!” She looked at me and laughed, a soft silvery sound. And it remained our secret.
