Reflections on love and committment and growth from the real source of purest love - God. |
You are my valentine the woman I treasured to be my wife. I remembered, for it seems not so long ago, I carried you everywhere even when you were not near. For my heart would not let you part from me but alloyed you as the throb, that quickens my pulse and activates my soul to unnatural heights. Your voice became music to my ears and outpaced my delights for Mozart, Chopin and Beethoven. When I reminiscence on the Platters and the Beetles, it was to revisit those times when I carried your name Tattooed in the palms of my hands and with vivid imaginations Danced with you until all the music had been exhausted. Years passed, life took its toll but our hearts must remain knitted. True valentines are tested and tried warriors committed to the task of trust, honesty, faithfulness and love that flows from Him. You are the only one I wanted to be my valentine and still do. My aim and desire is to invest in the fuel He has to heal our souls, then keep our valentine alight with the warmth of His special touch. Jaslyn Simon Dedicated to my wife Dawn Grace, |
