Piece of poetry about starting from scratch.
Today we died.
Today we lay our cold hands in the cold ground and dug out
Cold forever beds.
And we all pitched in.

sat in a circle and brainstormed One another’s tombstones.
it’s so hard to de-personify your self in a sentence,
Am I right, am I right?
More special than a sentence though Less than a novel
Am I right? I am right.

Today we died.
Yes, yes
You and me,
And the wailing masses.
Eyes so wide that the whites looked like a lighthouse
Late night warning.

-They’re talkin’ bout new things rising from ashes.
-But I believe in zombies.
-In tarot the death card is good.
Why don’t you cull yourself too?
Where do you live?
Let the live part of me live with you.
Let’s create one adequate thing.
