Poem about a car ride.
We were dazzled by the headlights,
But just for a moment
And our eyes filled
With the sound of the collision

They were dazzled by the headlights,
Of the sirens rushing to the scene.
And the people watched and stared
As we were carried away

We were dazzled by the headlights,
As we were rushed off
Needles being prodded,
And such a deathly cough

They were dazzled by the headlights,
As they drove into the night.
Trying to see us one last time
Before our final flight

We were dazzled by the headlights,
On that cold rainy night
If only we had known,
What would become of our final plight
