when it is dark

When it is dark your light pierces through.
When I am broken your spirit makes me new.
When there is confusion your peace you do bring.
When there is great sadness you make my heart sing.

Beyond any words I could possibly say,
I love you my Lord and my God every day.
Through trouble and heartache,persecution and trials,
a journey that seems like endless miles.
I cling to your word, your truth and your love,
and look to my source of strength from above.
