A girl who tries to cover her love with hate.
honey you left me with nothing
but trust me i've worked with less
you thought what we had was something
but sweetie its time i confess
mind games and playing with emotions
thats my style
then guilt hits me hard as i walk down the church aisle
touch every pew on the way
fall to my knees and finally say
"Lord forgive me, what i did was wrong"
i sang out the lies like the lyrics to my favorite song
but both of us know just by the look in my eye
all of this anger is a cover up lie
you've left me with nothing but a beautiful mess
but trust me honey i've worked with less
