Another Lordi based story
Karen looked around at the other students in the hall. None of them regarded her in the slightets. She reaced for her headset and adjusted it to get more volume. On her belt was a walkman with a Lordi tape in it. She pressed play. In seconds her head was filled with fantastical daydreams of winged beasts flying in darkened skies; swooping down on her and carrying her to some far off place. All fantasy of course but one could still dream right?
She made her way down the hall keeping her eyes on the floor. no one paid any attention to her anyway. although she longed to be accepted for who she was and not just what she wore, she wondered why she should pay them any attention either.
Karen came to the door of the gymnasium and stood there looking in. On the floor, the cheerleading squad was practicing their routine for tonights big gaem against North. She looked at the captian who gaver her a fleeting glance. Two more cheerleaders pushed their way past Karen and took thier spots on the floor. All of them were snobbish anyway. why should she care?
Karen felt a cool breeze across her face. Thats odd. A COOL breeze in the dead heat of a Californian summer? she looked around for a fan or to see if the A/C was on but nothing. now the wind was kicking up. It blew harder and harder. Leaves blew around the gym, but from where. The cheerleading captian had stopped the practice and now everyone was looking around. she turned her head toward the door that led to the street outside and saw the lightning flash. sillouetted agains the frosted glass was a clawed hand.
Suddenly the doors flew off the hinges onto the floor. behind them was a terrible visage. Standing seven feet tall with great black wings was the Demonman Karen had so often dreamed of lately. His face was a scar of burnt tissue with four horns protruding in a symmetrical square. the armor he wore was black and silver and awsome to behold. He raised his hand above his head and brought them down quickly. the cheerleaders crumpled to the ground dead.
The Demonman walked slowly to the middle of the floor. Karen walked parallel to him. they stopped, turned and faced each other. she looked deep into his red eyes. In her mind she heaerd him tell her that her time had come. she trembled in fright at the thought of what he meant.
The Demonman pointed at each of the cheerleaders bodies in succession after which he traced a circle in the air. they all jerkily rose to their feet and pumped their fists into the air as if saluting Karen. gradualy a smile crossed her face. she understood now.
The hallways were filled with the screams of the students. some where hiding in classrooms. others were hunkered down in tiny hiding spots. the bodies those who had not survide the onslaught were cast haphazardly next to the walls.
Karen was sitting on the steps leading to the main door of the school, the impish grin still spread across her face. she was queen of the undead. Her zombie slaves would not be subdued for another two days. she didnt know this. she thought that the pleasure of revenge would last forever. she shifted. looking to her right she saw the body of the varsity quarterback lying on the steps, a pool of congealed blood underneath him. she leaned over him.
"Would you reject me now Josh?" she asked. the body didnt answer. she kissed him on the lips and turned back around to enjoy the destruction.
