This was a creepy poem I wrote when I was thirteen
HUNT

I was walking along,
Alone on one day.
I heard someone screaming,
But what did they say?
I didn’t care,
I would make the one responsible pay.
I drew my double barrel shotgun,
With a stake prepared.
I turned round the corner,
To see a human ensnared.
The demon screamed,
It released the child.
I shot it immediately,
No blood emerged as it went wild.
I held my stake,
Behind my back.
The demon charged,
I drew back,
As it jumped,
I made a nimble escape.
I swung down my stake, the demon died;
Its eyes full of hate.
Is the child ok?
I took a look.
He was fine,
Then out of the dark I herd a grizzly whine.
Out of ammo,
I walked forwards.
Stakes in hand,
I reached a deep dank pit.
I heard a scream,
Then I awoke from the darkest of dreams.

Zombies, zombies everywhere,
Demons flying through the air.
Get a stake, run them through,
Draw a gun and blast ‘em to.

I got out of bed,
Was it really a dream?
I walked down the stairs,
Or that’s what it seemed.
I saw my mum,
She started to scream.
Her body gone numb,
Blood poured from her eyes.
She thrashed around,
Tentacles emerged from her sides.
I suddenly released I wasn’t alone,
Out came zombies;
Walking like clones.
The demon appeared,
My mum no longer.
I looked at the zombies,
Their eyes full of hunger.
Stakes would do nothing,
I suddenly released.
My problem just grew,
As the vampires flew.
Hundreds of millions,
Billions of trillions.
Surely it was fake,
I mean it’s wasn’t real,
I looked down as my skin began to peel.
I let out a scream,
As I fell through the floor seam.
I landed on my back,
But my body was in tack.
They would soon be here,
They were already near.
I jumped onto my feet,
I felt the demon’s heat.
I ran fast,
But it ran faster.
I flipped down the stairs,
My body was theirs.
I thought it was done,
As they licked their tongues.
Then outta no where,
An angel appeared.
The zombies lashed,
But they were smashed.
As the angel raised hand,
From round the corner a storm of sand.
Out walked a demon with a whip in hand.
The angel was crushed,
And the demon rushed,
Towards me…
It collided mid air with a werewolf,
Both creatures dazed,
I was not fazed.
I sprinted as fast as I could.
I reached the street and I pulled up my hood.
I blended in with the along with the crowd,
That didn’t stop them.
It was like a cloud.
Never ending black specs,
All hungering for bits of my neck.

Zombies, zombies everywhere,
Demons flying through the air.
Get a stake, run them through,
Draw a gun and blast ‘em to.

I had run to long,
It was time to fight.
My body told me I was dead,
But my heart told me I would be alright.
I turned around and ran towards them,
They snarled and grinned,
I was like bait, as weak as a hen.
I soon discovered I was wrong,
My heart told my I would able to fight,
But the simple fact was,
My heart was already in the mouth of the creatures of the night.
