Will you return?
My angel girl, where have you gone?
your life so short, but shone so strong;
In a better place may you surely be,
with heavens angels playing care free.

Why were you taken from me?

how i wish i could have taught you,
how i wish i could support you,
how i wish i could hold your hand
and guide your way on this unforgiving earth.
Its my job as daddy

little do you know of the sorrow i feel,
how i weep for you, how i miss you.
how i long for that one kiss
without knowing that your breath
had not once passed those lips

how i wish i could visit once in a while
how i wish i could see your smile,
how i wish i could hear you laugh
and tell you stories as you listen with intent.
it's my job as daddy

yet you have gone...but for in my heart

together forever as if still here you lay;
i know one day, we'll be again,
where you belong, somewhere carefree,
where you should be;
next to me.

sleep tight my angel girl,.
