A poem not intended to rhyme.
This sig is positively awesome!!!

NOTE: THIS POEM IS NOT ONE OF RHYME.

An Indian is just a savage a
bluecoat known as Custer believed.
Colonel or not, he wasn't courageous,
daring, or principled, and wore a pretentious disguise.
Envied by fellow Cavalrymen who endlessly
followed his every command without failure,
George Armstrong Custer wasn't the gallant
hero his men deemed him to be. He
instigated war constantly, and ignored
just about every treaty made without justification.
Killer of innocents was he, and a known
ladies man who cared not about the loss
many Native Americans endured due to his manly
notoriety as a Colonel. Indians were nothing
more than a strategic game of prey to him. Obviously
pillaging more to his taste, and plundering
quite to his liking. The Indians waited quietly,
resolved to defeat "Long Hair" and his regiment.
Soon they would fight. They refused to surrender
to Custer or to permit the breaking of another treaty.
Under the watchful eyes of Wakan Tanka, the Natives began to unite.
Various tribes gathered for the ensuing battle, vowing
war would come before loss of their lands. It was when
"X" marked the spot, and Terry and Custer ignored that "X",
young Custer and his murderous troops unwilling to yield,
zealous whooping cries were heard because the "wasichus" crossed the zone.

* Wakan Tanka meaning "Great Mysterious" *

* wasichus referring to the white race *
