Alchohol abuse. (ignore the fact that they are talking in rhyme...)
She tried so hard,
But she couldnt take it.
"Whats one sip gonna do?"
She thought as she drank it.

It was nasty but made her free.
So she drank even more.
She felt care free, invincible.
Until she fell face first on the floor.

An hour later while cleaning up,
Her friend taps her on the shoulder.
"Michelle get up you gotta leave."
But she remains stil as a boulder.

"Michelle get up quit playin girl!"
But no response from Michelle.
She calls the police then realizes,
Thats why she fell.

Shes taken away in an ambulance,
Her parents by her side.
Now arrived at the hospital,
Her spirit still alive.

*Come back, stay here, dont leave.*
She hears them calling.
She looks back from the light,
Goes to cliff, shes falling.

She wakes up with sweat,
Running down her face.
"Who are you?"
Her memory erased.

"Thank God you're alive!!"
Her mother crys with tears.
She rushes over saying,
"Its been eleven years!"

"ELEVEN YEARS? What happened?"
'You've been in a coma dear.'
"Who are you again? How'd this happen?"
'Im your mother, the cause, beer.'

"Her memory will return shortly."
The doctor said.
"Mother how old am I?"
'Twenty-six.' A faint voice said.

There in the doorway,
Stood a distant stranger.
"I used to be your best friend;
Why arent you full of anger?"

'Why would I be angry?
What did you do?
I dont remember anything,
And what do you mean *used to*?"

'I cant believe your alive,
After all this time.
Its actually all my fault,
When I threw the party that night.

'Im sorry that it was me,
That caused all this mess.
How could I do this?
I was your best friend.'

"You're still my best friend,
Although I dont remember.
I'll get back to my normal life,
And be a family member."

When she came home,
On that speicial day.
Her family had a celebration,
And they had a lot to say.

She never touched beer again,
And she wont as long as she will live.
She learned a lot about it,
And how it can kill.

Later after that incident,
She got a great career.
She married a wonderful guy,
And her kids are full of cheer.
