The Kitchen Table

Come on in, the coffee is hot and biscuits and gravy is just about ready.

The kitchen table is to a southerner is the most used place in the house. We don't have company in the living room. We gather around the kitchen table. This is the place where problems are faced, stories are shared, and life is lived. Whether it is at hunting camp or at home the kitchen table is the central force in our family. Hunting camp for me is a place to go when the rest of the world is driving me insane. Some of the best memories I have are spent at camp on a rainy day sitting around the kitchen table and swapping stories. So step right in and pull up a chair. Sit and rest a while.
