Ode to childhood

Sitting thinking of days gone by,
Wondering wondering with a sigh,
What tomorrow will bring alone,
And how the days and years have gone.

It must be nice to be a child with carefree days,
And violet skies,
No worry of the things to come,
And racing racing for the dawn.
