A Message from Beyond

After my best friend lost her dog, Sam,
I was leaving her a message trying to uplift
her spirits. The following is what I wrote in
the exact order.
              Smile,
          you Are loved
            by Many.
A couple days later she asked me if I meant
to do what I had done. I asked her what she
was talking about. That's when she showed
it to me. If you look closely, unknowing to me
I spelled SAM. For that reason I had to write this.


A Message from Beyond

Delivered the message you conveyed to me,
knew not what it was intended to be.
The letters spelled out words so true,
what inspired emotions of blue but anew.
Amongst them all, the one stood out.
The original sender had come about.
Unknown to me the true message you sent,
but they knew exactly what you meant.
Assurance of your return from beyond.
What a way to reunite that bond.
