A Christmas Poem!

Sometimes we wonder why we loose
That “Christmas feeling?”
We then tend to blame it on loosing those
We always had close to the heart.

Sometimes we get too caught up in material
Things when really it’s all about being with those
You have near. It’s not about the things in the
Packages and boxes with bows! It’s about
The time we took to think of that person
And show how much we care.

It’s also about the stories to share of those pasted on.
Sometimes I think those are the best gifts of all! Sharing
Stories of the people in our lives who have left us. That’s really
What the season is all about!

It’s about taking time out to thank god for what we have
And that we all are accounted and present! Even though we
Do not have that special person who brings the merry in Christmas
With us today, that only means that we will have them for the rest of our lives.

Their here on our birthdays, they’re here on the holidays, but best of all they are
Here every day!
So, with that in mind all we have to do then is keep their sprit alive!
Talking and sharing stories about them, the things that made you mad and
the things that made you laugh! It brings everyone together, and fills in the missing
piece.

Sometimes there’s more to the holidays than what meets the eye!
They may only be alive in our hearts, but that’s what brings out
The best in holidays!
