Little pieces of me...
I don't know if it's all because of you these things I do today. Will I turn everyone away? Will you haunt my dreams forever? You're just a faded mess and I am waiting to destroy you. But now this virulent feeling creates a torrential unrest in me. I am tossed into a spiral down motion and leave everyone behind. Tell me, is it better this way? That I feel the way I do is so unjust. You live a lie, pretending to be what you never were. Forever you reside unseen, content that your treacherous secret will remain undisclosed. These furtive thoughts I behold of things that were, become mangled, twisted into things that are. Making me push away anyone that gets too close. Do you love what you created? Do you even know? Your life is pathetic yet you still have a way of making me feel irresolute. There will come that fateful day when I can pick up the shards of myself and say that I am whole.
