Robbie the Firetruck story
Robbie and the parade

It was a very sunny morning at the firehouse.  It was a very exciting day too.  Today was parade day and all the firetrucks were going to be in the parade.
It was the big town founding parade and people for miles and miles turned out for this exciting parade.
The first parade entry was the local school band closely followed by the Mayor and his wife in a shiny Cadillac borrowed from the local car dealer.
Behind the mayor was the local shriners group and a group of clowns.
Another band followed the shriners and then it was Robbie the Firetruck and all his friends turn.
The first in line was Tom the Fire Chief followed by Bob the pumper, Joe the Hook and Ladder and Charles the Rescue Truck.  Jenny the ambulance and Buddy the Police Car came next.
But the crowd didn’t come to see all those firetrucks but they came to see one in particular.  Robbie the Firetruck and especially the person who was riding on top of the truck.
Do you know who that person is?
You don’t?
Why that person is none other than Santa Claus.
Santa Claus has traveled all the way from the North Pole to be in Robbies town’s parade.
As Robbie and Santa drove the parade route Santa was throwing candy and small presents to the crowd.  Robbie kept turning on the siren every time he did so the crowd cheered.
When the parade came to an end all the firetrucks returned to the station and Santa would take pictures of all the good boys and girls and ask them what they wanted for Christmas.
After the last little boy got off Santa’s lap, Santa got up and got on his sleigh and flew back to the North Pole.
The town had the best parade ever.
