Tears

The silent tears,
a woman weeps
is hardest on her soul
they make a path
that runs deep,
and destroys her,
heart that beats
no one knows
when she cries,
for her pain is
always private
no comfort comes
when the tears flow,
for it is her fate
to cry-
for the people she loves,
the things she has done
and the peace
she will never know
