for the first time, i felt pain and joy together!!
His happiness is my joy
And so not a word could I say
When she took him away

He walked off with his to-be soul mate
Arms in arms… binding each otha hearts
With love- with happiness- with bliss

And I could only stare
And not yell- not even utter
My eyes streamed with tears

Into pieces, my heart was broken
With shafts, my soul was torn
For eternity, my happiness was worn

Yet to the world, I declare
Loud and clear
Meaning each and every word

That girl ain’t no bitch
How can that be?
After all, his choice is she

Myself, I consider lucky
I do… seriously
For he knows, an ‘Isra’ in this world exists

Lovers I’ve seen
To their honeys, they don’t a thing mean
But onto them, they lean

Among them all, I’m better
Cause a time there was, when his full smile…
Made me shine and glitter

Oh yeah!!!
For me, his smile was meant
However hard it is to believe

To me he used to talk
So what if books were the stuff
At least my interest, his mind got

He can sense my eyes
Every time I cast him a stare
Does not turn around he, not even to glare

Yet he knows and I’m not surprised
His eyes I can read
His feelings I can decipher

He neither complains nor moans
His dislike though he has shown
Ruthlessly turning me down

It’s said good things don’t last long
Bad things do come along
Whether it’s tomorrow, today or even now

It’s quite fair
Of both things, I’ve had my share
However, right now, I’m in melancholy’s snare

No angel am I
I can’t make life rule
And I can’t help if fate’s cruel
