Dwindle, loiter, leave, dispense-

those silly words within your head,

disregard your daily-dose dejection.



Twist, entwine, ensnare, entrap-

those stupid thoughts within your cap,

lose, misuse, conclude you've lost the clues.



Grasp, grip, include, accept-

reality and how it lets,

you fall asleep at noon still in your desk.



But the radio still plays your favorite song.



The lights inside your cranium are on.
