Those eyes
They stare
Back at me
And back at you
I stare sheepishly

That look, that demand
I cannot bear to stand
so I turn away
From those needy eyes
That portray a side
I refuse to see
it portrays a side

Bravery, you've always shown
You've been the hero while I was stuck
You've been so perfect, with me no luck

I ponder on your newfound way
